Sandro Chavez and his 6 sons were brought up by their parents learning about coffee farming from a young age. Over the last two years, our relationship with Sandro has developed further and he is now a fundamental part of our team.
In 2019, through hard work and dedication focusing on producing coffee that can be classes as ‘speciality’, as well as investing in building his own drying tunnel, Sandro sold his first micro-lot of speciality coffee.
Tight controls at every stage from planting through harvesting and processing has produced beautiful acidic red berry notes in this year’s crop, balanced well with sweet caramel notes, and a honey like mouthfeel.
