The Rosalba Bados family have a small farm of 2 hectares located in the small village town of Chaguaraco, Nariño.

In 1979, the family inherited the derelict farm. At this time the family saw the opportunity to plant coffee. With a lot of hard work and dedication they planted approx. 7000 Caturra coffee trees and 900 Castillo coffee trees. Forty years they are reaping the result of their hard work. Their farm produces some of the best coffee in the area. Hernan has been very keen to trial new processes at farm level. This year he has produced an amazing long fermentation processed coffee, where he left the coffee to ferment for almost 50 hours. This produced an exceptional coffee with sweet juicy notes of blackberries, caramel and chocolate.
