This is the third coffee we are sharing from Cristian Burgos and his family this year, but our connection with them goes much further back.
Over the years, visits to Cristian’s farms have become a familiar part of Frank and Rachel’s time in Nariño. Each year they return to catch up with the family, walk the farms together and see how the harvest is developing. What started through coffee has grown into a friendship and a relationship we’re very proud to continue.
This lot comes from Finca Cidral, one of the farms cared for by Cristian and his family. It’s a sweet and balanced coffee, with notes of panela, chocolate and red fruits.
For us, coffees like this are a reminder of why returning to the same producers year after year matters. We get to know the people, their farms and their work a little better with every harvest, and we get to share that journey with you.
