El Cerro
Introducing our first explore offering for April: a long-awaited return to the delights of honey processed coffee, curated from the skilled hands of Hernán Martinez Bados. Nestled near la Castilla in la Unión Nariño, Hernán has devoted over a decade to cultivating his coffee farm, el Cerro.
Hernán stands as a key innovator in honey processed coffee production, a method where a portion of the mucilage is deliberately retained on the coffee bean during sun-drying, resulting in greater fermentation and sugar development. This technique, revered for its nuanced flavours and incredible depth of sweetness, demands precise weather conditions and meticulous bean care during drying.
As each year passes, Hernán demonstrates not only his mastery of honey processing but also his remarkable ability to expand production capacity without compromising quality. In his region, he is celebrated as a true maestro of coffee production,
In a cup of el Cerro expect a deep honey sweetness, juicy melon texture, peachy brightness and an orange linger that is a perfect morning brew or even made as iced filter.
La Cocha
Introducing our Fidela Explore 2/4 offering: La Cocha.
This exceptional lot hails from a large, multi-acre farm across a range of different altitiudes where farmers are assigned specific plots of land to maintain. This approach ensures that farmers have a manageable plot size and can have meticulous control over their specific crop, in turn this ensure the quality of their coffee is extremely high ensuring a premium price is paid for each crop, empowering producers with limited space to earn a fair price for their dedication and hard work.
La Cocha is a washed coffee and offers versatility when brewing and promises a well-rounded cup with notes of ripe, zesty mandarin and a light sweetness making it a crowd-pleaser for any occasion
WHEN ARE WE SENDING OUT YOUR SUBSCRIPTION COFFEES?
We send out your subscription on the last Wednesday of the month, arriving in time for the start of the new month. For those receiving a 2nd shipment (4 Coffees), this will be sent on the middle Wednesday of the new month.WHICH COFFEES WILL I BE RECEIVING?
Our roast team selects the subscriber coffees every month. They are our latest releases from our exclusive farms. When you are starting your subscription you can choose between filter roasts (Fidela Explore) and espresso roasts (Fidela Classic Wholebean).CAN YOU GRIND MY COFFEE?
Our Fidela Explore subscription gives you the option to select your preferred brewing method when ordering and we'll take care of the rest. If you can, we would always recommend buying whole beans and grinding them at home as the shelf life of pre-ground coffee is a lot shorter. *Our Fidela Classic Wholebean Subscription cannot be pre-groundARE THE COFFEES DIFFERENT EVERY TIME?
Subscribers to our Fidela Explore Subscription can expect two new coffees in a month. Every month you get the opportunity to taste two different coffees.

- As a 4 x 250g subscriber you will receive two of each coffee two times a month.
Fidela Classic Whole Bean Subscription customers can expect the fixed espresso coffee called Sandona.
I HAVE JUST SIGNED UP FOR A SUBSCRIPTION. WHEN WILL IT START?
Your payment is taken as soon as the order is placed, however your order won’t be fulfilled until the coming months release. Placing an order before the last Wednesday of the month ensures your coffee will arrive at the start of the coming month. Orders after this, will roll on to the following month.HOW CAN I ADJUST MY COFFEE SUBSCRIPTION?
