The Gomez family, Jose, Leonor and their 4 children, began coffee farming after relocating to Tambillo, Sandoná in the search of a new career. They invested in buying a small farm and fully dedicating their time and effort to grow coffee.
Since then, Leonor has been on a continual learning journey attending numerous courses on new processing techniques and crop improvement.
Through her dedication their coffee is now graded as ‘Speciality Grade’, meaning they are paid a higher price for their higher quality crop.
This has in-turn allowed the Gomez Gomez family to improve their quality of life, reinvest back into their farm, and provide financial security for the family.
This particular lot of coffee has had an extended fermentation time and extended drying time increasing cup complexity and delicacy.
